In the year 2054, time travel is a reality. The patent for the new technology is held by a company headed by Charles Hatton (Ben Kingsley), who has organized safaris to hunt prehistoric dinosaurs. Travis Ryan (Edward Burns), as head of the expedition, is in charge of the travelers’ safety. However, playing with time is very dangerous and the slightest mistake can have devastating consequences in the present. Ryan and Dr. Sonia Rand (Catherine McCormack) will have to face all kinds of dangers to survive and to avoid alterations in the present.
